We’re on your side

We have been in business long enough to  know that we prefer to deal with people, not just customers.

Not only do we talk to you a lot, but we write quite a bit too. Whether by email or letter you will have no shortage of reading material if you want to know what is happening. You don’t have to read everything, but we think you should have it anyway.

We believe that our job is to look after the legal work and make sure that you have all the information you need to make important decisions. This means ensuring that you know what you need to do next and what your options are. This may involve some legal aspects, but is just as likely to involve a decision about what price to offer, and when. Or, for example, deciding what the seller’s Home Report really means.

If you have ever been unsure about the difference between a closing date and an entry date then we can help. We can also explain what a completion date is too.

We like to be informal in our dress and way of speaking, but we are very traditional when it comes to conducting business. That goes for our dealings with clients as much as with other professionals.

If you want nothing more than, “the legals” taken care of then we can do that for you. But bearing in mind that a home is easily the most important and expensive thing that you are ever likely to buy, we have found that most clients like a bit of support and advice along the way.
